Triathlon Training ...

Wow is about all I can say.  Training for a sprint triathlon, juggling work, taking care of 4 kids and all the busy summer schedules, keeping a house clean and people fed is a tough job!  I feel like I have so many balls up in the air juggling that I might just drop them all....right now, I am just dropping the clean house ... so I am considering that a success.

I have been following THIS plan from Everymom to IRONMOM for my 8 weeks to a sprint triathlon.  It has been a great program and I feel like I am really ready for my first race on July 6th.  I am super excited.  I have overcome many obstacles, fears and frustrations.  I have wanted to keep this blog updated, but I have obviously dropped that ball too, but I will try to get my thoughts and feelings down as soon as I can!

Starting weight ***176 lbs
Week 1 Weigh-In *** 171 lbs
Week 2 WI ** 167 lbs!!
Week 3 WI *** 163 lbs
Week 4 WI *** 160 lbs
Week 5 WI *** 159 lbs
Week 6 WI *** 156
Week 7 WI *** 155
Week 8 WI *** 152
FINAL Ideal Protein WI *** 148 pounds!!!
I made it!  I had to phase off Ideal Protein because of the intensity of my training for my triathlon.  I wasn't dropping the weight anymore so I didn't want to spend all the money on the product.  I may go back on it if I need to in the fall to get to my ultimate goal, but for now I have fitness goals I want to obtain!
I cannot even describe how awesome it feels to have finally gotten rid of those almost 30 pounds!  I have been trying for 5 years to shed them and now it has finally happened.  I am so grateful I found the key to unlock my fat :)!!
